Cranleigh LibraryCranleigh Library
Cranleigh Library is situated on the high Street (just past Handymans and before the Lemon Grass.
It is free to join the library as long as you live, work or study in Surrey, just bring along proof of address and we can join you up. Membership includes all 50 libraries in Surrey. We also have free WiFi, plus as a member you can use our PC’s for 2 hours a day. There is also a library app for renewing and reserving books, plus access to other apps that give free access to magazines, ebooks, audio books and more.
We are also soon going to be getting some Digital Buddies to help with any problems with getting online or technology. As a member you also get access to Which and Ancestry when using our PC’s.
Books can be ordered from other branch for as little as 75p, plus we get a book delivery 3 times a week so your order could only take days to get in. Don’t forget that all book loans are free of charge. All childrens books reserved on a childrens account are free of charge to reserve, and free to borrow.
Out weekly Storytime sessions are on Wednesday mornings at 10.30am – 11.00, and Rhymetime on Friday mornings at the same time.
We also have a monthly Chatterbook group for young readers once a month on a Saturday 3 – 4pm – pop in branch and ask at the desk.
We are open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30 to 5pm.
